We Use these in our basement along a leaky wall and they work great! They hold a lot of water and they keep the water from running all over the basement. And they are very durable.

Won't stay where placed!

Bought about 3 months ago in anticipation for occasional heavy rains. Today the deluge came, so I unpacked the bags, went to the top of my driveway and placed 6 bags strategically to divert runoff from the road. The bags did absorb water, but even when "full" could not stay in place. They proved to be totally useless as some floated down the road, and others down my driveway - plugging my drains! What a waste of time and money. Very disappointing.
