Beautiful Design and Good Water Pressure

Beautiful elegant design, and flawless functionality. My boyfriend got first use after a quick and easy install, and said: "the water feels so soft, it's like a warm blanket covering my body". I have bad water pressure in my home, and this shower head is not affected by that in the least. There is a good amount of pressure and good surface area covered by the spray. I was originally searching for a shower head that could function as a water purifier, which is how I came across this particular shower head. The water feels nice, but I have no idea whether it Is working as a purifier... I suppose I should buy a testing kit of some kind.

Shower head is nice BUT Water hardness test says: this does nothing.

The shower head itself is nice. It looks pretty, it's easy to install and the water distribution is much better that a plain regular head. BUT!!!!!! - The filters... After more than a year of use (2 filters replacements already), I never really saw or felt any difference on my hair or skin. I have curly, completely natural hair so I guess I should've felt some difference, given that the water here is hard (DR). I got a water hardness tester for something else, and I decided to test my shower head water to see if the filters actually work. Turns out both the old filter (around 4 months of use) and a brand new one, had the same hardness results (~120ppm exactly what the UNfiltered tap water has). So, I have to say this thing does nothing. Also, after a while, the inner flow restrictor got blocked by the residues and really gave me a hard time because the water flow was so low I could hardly take a shower or wash my hair until I figured out the restrictor was the problem. I just took it out and the water flow was back to normal. So, take that in mind, so you not suffer like I did.

I wasn’t expecting much, but amazed by this shower head. The pressure is great and the water really does “feel” different. You can tell the difference in using body wash/products and skin doesn’t feel as dry. Really amazed. Excellent for anyone who wants to improve shower water quality. Filter lasting for 6 months is a lot of bang for your buck. Very happy with purchase.

I've tried a ton of shower heads with filters over the years and this one is just the best. And for the sale price of $35, what are you even debating? Walk into a hardware store and it's gonna be $60+ for a nice shower head, many without filtration options. Fixing our disgusting polluted water is one of the most important things we can do. Brondell's clean design and serious filtration is legit perfect. Easy install and you don't have to remove the shower head to change the filter. But can we talk about how well made this is. The ball joint makes for easy, EASY adjustments. I was always wrestling with previous shower heads. Couple notes: 1. It does come with plumber's tape, it's just a small spool and easy to miss in the packaging if you aren't careful. 2. Use a lot of tape, wrap it the correct direction and use pliers to get it extra tight. (Shout out to the husband!) With a good install, we've had no leaks, drips or issues. This thing does what it says and that's it. Simple. Perfect. Thank you Brondell!

Night and day of a difference from my first shower using the shower head! My face was drying out and my scalp was suffering. I didn’t know what was causing my skins health to be in bad shape. So I started doing some research and the quality of water in south California is bad for your skin. I took action after finding this shower head and I am very happy after my first shower. I laterally just came out the shower as I’m writing this review. Immediately I saw my face brighter and healthier without the dryness. I will never use a shower without a filter again. Do yourself a favor and buy this, it’s very affordable and you’ll be glad you did.

I have not used this product for very long, but I wanted to leave a review for anyone else that had the issue with the shower head drooping down due to the ball joint being too loose. Unscrew the white plastic housing within the head and find the small plastic o-ring inside below. It should be secured tightly against the ball joint on the inside of the metal adapter. It seems due to lack of QA it is often being misplaced in assembly. Once you have it in place correctly, you can screw back in the housing and the shower head will no longer droop and will remain in a fixed position.
Shower Head Drifts Down

Contacted Brondell about the following issue and they sent me a replacement shower head and it performed just like the first one. The shower head drifts down to the 6 o'clock position when placed in an upper position (toward the 12 o'clock position). The shower head does not drift when there is no filter installed. The added weight of the filter causes the shower head to drift downward. This would appear to be a design issue. It is unfortunate since the filter performance is excellent. I have restricted the motion of the shower head by placing a bead at the 6 o’clock position thus making it a fixed position shower head.
