BioBidet SLIM 1 Elongated Bidet Toilet Seat - White

We purchased two of these seats, one for each of our bathrooms. Both failed in less than a year, while under warranty. They were repaired but one failed again after seven uses. The other did not. So we sent it back for a second repair. It worked for a while then stopped but unplugging it and letting it sit overnight seemed to fix it at that point. Then, sure enough, it quit again but, of course, it was no longer under warranty at that point. When working the pressure is much lower (on it's strongest setting) than what we have gotten out of other brands we've had in the past. This is the third brand of seat we've had (I can't recall the last brand but our first was brondell, I think?) both the other brands we've used had far better pressure. Ths one's pressure was just okay. The look of the seat iis fairly nice but, the lid isn't strong enough to support any weight so if you also sometimes sit on you toilet with the seat lid down (like I would normally do when giving my kids hair cuts or using my epilation machine or waxing, etc...) this seat design will make that impossible. We are a family of 6 so maybe 6 butts are just too much for this seat to wash, I don't know. What I do know is my husband is very angry to have put into about $200 per seat only to be left 2 years later with a non-functional bidet seat. The other brands we've used consistently have lasted 5+ years. These seem to be more like 1 year - 1.5 years. It was slightly cheaper than the last two models we used but not much so I would expect they last nearly the same amount of time. The company said they seemed to stop working because of hard water build-up even though our water is soft they also suggested possibly that it could be a reverse osmosis system but we don't have that either, so, I don't know what the issue is. If you choose to buy this and have any amount of hardness to your water you better buy their add-on water filter (an additional $20) just to be sure oh and that needs to be replaced every 3 months. The last seat we had came with an included filter but theirs is extra. You might not want to buy this if you have a reverse osmosis system either. Being that these don't last very long and have inferior pressure quality to our other previous seats, I can't recommend these.
