Bye Bye Plastic Tubs. These are amazing!
By jon mischke on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2024
Durable, light weight, and have quite a bit more interior volume than other bins that claim to be the same size (the 12 Gal size holds about 20% more than the "12 Gal" yellow and black bins from Home Depot). They're rectangular, so they're super efficient to stack and pack. And they stack really securely with or without the lid. They're surprisingly low-profile when collapsed, and easy to store in a car trunk or the corner of a closet. My only criticism is that the inset lid is a little flimsy, so you can't stack something heavy in the middle of it unless the bin is packed full. The easy solution to that is to just place another collapsed one on top, so not a big deal at all.Overall, I'd highly recommend!

brittle garbage
By warren shaub on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2020
Got these bins for groceries, to complement an older collapsible crate that has been utilized for years. These cannot fulfill that use. I have never exceeded the weight limit, and honestly they fail far below that. When the crates are deployed there is very little retaining the sides in place. To be concise, the longer sides become dislodged from the base, or the top quite easily when they are moved. This is not noticed until you attempt to re-fold the crate and it will not collapse. The only option is to scrutinize the top and bottom of the crate to see where the hinge points have become dislodged and mis-aligned. (My old crate has metal pins in the hinges to ensure it remains together) In less than six weeks of non-steady use the crate now does this every time I use it. During this time is when the brittleness of the plastic becomes evident as various parts have begun breaking off, including the lugs that the lid rests on. I was not counting on the lid for my intended use so i let it go.Tonight was too much for me to deal with, I spent three minutes of my life trying to get this crate to collapse again, and in the process the lower panel broke. I threw it on the garage floor and it exploded into many brittle plastic pieces. That is what you see here, a pile of brittle plastic garbage that cannot be returned or recycled. I literally have never written a review before, this is my first. A nearly ten-year record broken because these crates are just that bad. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
