GOODYEAR Air Hose Reel 3/8" x 25'

Very nice extra air hose for my shop. Check out the video and photos. I mounted this hose reel to the 10-foot ceiling in my garage/shop. It retracts and locks with ease, the mechanism feels solid and the hose is excellent quality. I have the 50 foot floor version of this Goodyear air hose (see photo of the floor reel) and I liked the quality of that one so I bought this one. I used a piece of 3/4 inch furniture grade plywood and used 4 x 3/16 x 4 inch long lags screwed into the 2 x 12 ceiling joist overhead. Those are the black hex bolts seen in the photo. To hold the hose reel to the plywood, I used 3/8 inch Tee Nuts (see the photo of the Tee Nut in my hand) and 3/8 inch bolts and washers. Those Tee Nuts are using for climbing wall holds and they are plenty strong. The silver hex bolts in the photo on the blue reel frame have the Tee Nuts above them. One tip for a ceiling mount if you’re doing it alone. Unwind the hose and let it lay on the floor until you get the reel mounted. Much easier on my rotator cuff repaired shoulders! Hope this helps!
