Kids Nest Swing - 1 Child, Blue

I bought this swing for my autistic son and he absolutely adored it when he opened it on Christmas Day. He is 76 lb and he does not rough house, or play rough in the swing in any way shape or for. He just loves to sit inside of it with his blanket lie down and rub the inside of the material occasionally asking for it to be spun around. Today while swinging, I was in the kitchen and heard him scream the metal ring inside of the swing had burst through the cotton material causing him to land on the floor. My husband and I had not noticed how weak the material was becoming where the metal ring is, apparently 76lbs is too much weight for this swing. My son was okay, I think it was the shock of falling out of his favorite swing that made him cry the most. To make matters worse yesterday was the last day that I could have possibly requested an exchange or refund for this swing. It was nice for the small time that it lasted. However, for the price I paid it's a shame that it barely lasted one month and it's even more disheartening that yesterday was the last day for an exchange or refund.
