KATSURA Chinese Cleaver Blank 6.5"

Really excited to add this cleaver to my setIt is well balanced , same super fine sharp edge !The Damascus looking pattern is pretty and not in your face like regular carbon DamascusI have built almost every knife in this collectionWe use them every day .We have some that have been used 4 years and have never had to sharpen them .I did hit the paring knife on the diamond steel Katsura makes , just get the edge back and it is working like new again.I have made many of the Chef knives and several full sets of non serrated steak knife sets for customersEveryone loves them and calls back to order an additional knife or two.I have orders for these new cleavers after one day of me using it and posting to customer listThis handle was made using Stabilized Curly MangoLoved the bright reddish color of the MangoI will keep using and making these for as long as possibleHighly recommend Katsura products in this seriesHand wash and dry after each use , only use them on wood or acrylic cutting boards !Never on granite , stone or porcelain or any hard surface ! That flattens the blade edge resulting in a very dull blade
