I was a little unsure of these based on some reviews. However, I think they are good for the price. These are exactly 14" across. Yes the liners have some thin spots. I plan on lining them with brown paper like another review recommended. I only use liners one year anyway. I think these baskets should last a few years. My current ones have the thin metal bands and are already rusting through after one season. I am hoping the wire style will be hold up better.

The good and the bad

These baskets look great, are a good value, and were exactly what I thought I wanted. However, they do not keep your plants hydrated. My baskets spend more time soaking in buckets of water than actually hanging because they are parched. The baskets are shallow and the coconut fiber doesn’t go all the way to the top. So no matter how much you are watering the liquid isn’t getting to the roots - it either runs over or through. I will be re-potting to another option.
