Sturdy and coils well

This is a hose that will do what you need it to do. It will stretch out the 50 feet and with a firm tug it will coil back. You need to hold on to the hose as you walk it back so it does not get away from you thereby keeping it under control. There is some effort but minimal compared to manually coiling one up by hand and arm strength. If you want something easier than this, then hire a gardener to do the work for you.

Broken on first use

Using this reel for the first time the plastic gasket elbow blew out of the reel. The metal piece which is suppose to hold the elbow in place did not seem to be seated properly when built, therefore the pressure pushed the elbow out. The elbow plastic stripped and is now useless. Called the number provided on the product and receive an automated message which basically states they are unavailable due to COVID. Email sent was also unanswered after several days.
