This steering wheel lock is simple, easy to install, and compact enough where you could stash it under the seat, but the locking assembly itself uses a barrel lock mechanism, which a determined thief could defeat with relative ease. That being said, an inexperienced kid doing a TikTok challenge is unlikely to be carrying the tools to defeat barrel locks, or any locks of that matter, and most likely would be stopped in their tracks by this steering wheel lock, if the bright yellow bar didn't deter them to begin with.
