A Hurricane on Wheels

Living in the woods with a long driveway can be scenic and relaxing, depending on the time of the year. The downside of my property is the cleanup of leaves in the fall and the snow in the winter. That was, until my wife bought me a Landworks 7 hp leaf and snow blower. The first time I used it, I was impressed with easy the motor was to start and how I was able to clear the leaves off our 300-ft-long driveway in less than 10 minutes. Then I discovered I was running the motor just slightly above idle. When I advanced the throttle, this little machine became a hurricane on wheels. It easily cleared small twigs and branches along with the leaves. Our driveway goes uphill for about 100 feet up to the house, so even a light snow can make it impossible to get into the garage. The Landworks leaf and snow blower was a huge help blowing away a few inches of dry snow.

received 10/30/24 - plastic impeller, NOT 2000 CFM

After searching several sites I could see that there are 2 part numbers for this - GUO0125 and GUO022 - but which one is 1500 CFM and which is 2000 CFM remains a mystery. I tried calling the Great Circle support number and just got a recording! The motor on the one I got is labeled 209 CC, but the box and listing say 212 CC - not that this is a big difference, BUT it shows how inconsistent they are. I checked and double checked the listing after reading the reviews on the plastic impellers and found that the listing clearly states it has a metal impeller. NOT TRUE - I could see that the impeller on the unit I just received is plastic! If I wanted a plastic impeller and only 1500 CFM I could have bought it from several other places for $100 less! I now have to box it up and probably fight with Amazon to return it! *** UPDATE - Great Circle finally got back to me and confirmed that part# GUO125 is the current replacement, BUT it is NOT 2000 CFM like the listing says in on several sites INCLUDING the Great Circle site. I did fire it up since the leaves were collecting and found that it hardly moves move leaves than my small backpack blower. Once you get a small pile, the very dry leaves just laugh at the blower! So don't expect too much from this, and be prepared for minimal support. Amazon was great though and had no problem refunding my money!
