This puts out a ton of mist I actually bought it as a cooling mister. If you are in the heat a short burst of the mist is a major cool down. Obviously, we do not use any chemicals in it after that This also sprays weeds so I am ordering a second one amazing fine mist for that application.

Might be good

I just got this today. I read many of the neg reviews and putting this at 1 stars in hopes more people see it. This product can work and will work provided you understand a few things. The first thing we will address is the tank. Reviews have stated that it will split. This is likely due to the type of plastic that its made from. My recommendations is to keep it in a dark area and to prevent any UV light on it when not in use. Do not store liquid in it at all. Always purge the tank and lines. This should solve most problems. Leaking problems in reviews. Since i have not had a chance to strip it down I can not see for sure how the hose is attached to the tank. I am confidant in saying that its likely a hole with the hose fitted tightly. This is common for these type tanks and their systems. The cause of the leaking is due to being over filled and hose shrinkage and or movement in said hose or built up pressure. If the cap is leaking then its likely missing a gasket/o ring. The noise is quite loud as the pump seems to be powerful and the fan is medium. A few things that I can see happening is the hose gets dry rots and cracks which will result in having to open up the case and replace it with much better hose. When I first filled it and pulled the trigger it streamed out due to the massive pressure that built up in the prime. I would imagine that after I purged the system before putting it up and filled it again it would do the same thing. If this is the case then I would recommend that you fill it with some water and purge the system before you dump the water and add your mix of chemicals. This would solve many of these problems. If a person were to flush the system after each use and then drain and put the finger tip on the spray end for a moment at a time it will build up pressure and blow out the lines. The nozzle is kinda poor and plastic. I have another one of those really cheap Ryobi sprayers PSP01B and it has a brass nozzle on it. It seems to do about the same misting power. I might look around amazon when I strip this machine apart and find something that I can adapt to it so that way I can remove the nozzle and allow for a much faster flushing out. As it appears that this is just a tank with a pump and a cheap plastic nozzle with a fan behind it. Replacement parts is still unclear. Yet I do think that for the amount I paid for this it would be cheaper to buy a new one and use the parts for this on something else. $26.70 plus tax. This was cheap which is why I opted to buy one. I will be able to monkey around with this and fix nearly all of its flaws and could even improve it. I am stoked to try this out when spring rolls around.
