Awesome !!! Road and Highway Tested... Does Not Wobble and Bikes are Secured!!!
By KC on Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2022
The KAC C2 Rack is solid, heavy-duty, and perfect for my needs! It has been city road tested with many stop and goes. Highway tested with speeds up to 90mph, and parking garage tested with speed bumps and narrow parking spaces. PLEASE NOTE, You do need to take a few extra precautions... 1) Make sure the Wobble Free Bolt is tightened. The device inside the hitch will keep it from swaying... when you first put the screw/bolt in you can pretty much slide it all the way throw and hand tighten it....no... you need to get your ratchet out and then tighten it further. Also, I am not one of these people worried to much about a scratch on my bike... I am more about the safety of transporting it as I travel often and take my bike and paddle board with me. I also want to make sure I have access to the hatch/trunk area of the SUV. My past hitch bike carrier I had to use a hitch extension. With this one offer a dip-down feature is nice. However, because I am usually the only one in my group riding the bike I put it on the outside track and secured it down. No hitch extension needed. The tailgate raises up and down without interference. Now because I travel about 150 miles around Florida and drive fast I want to make sure the bike is secured and not going to fly off and hit someone else on the road. I have not only used the locking cable and tie-down strap. I purchased on Amazon some Velcro /Nylon Hook and Loop 2" Wide x 18 inches and 3 feet. They are quite inexpensive but do an amazing job to keep the bike stable and secure. While I am using one of the Hooks for the front tire of my bike. I am using the other one to help secure the bike frame further by laying on top of my pedal and then velcroing it down. Let me assure you again, following the proper steps, this bike rack doesn't sway, wobble or cause any issues to my bike. I have had it now for about a month and have left it on the car full time. I love it! I save a lot of money compared to Kuat, Yamika, and Thule...! :)

Broke on the first trip. Won't communicate.
By Marian H Willeke on Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2023
On our first trip, it had a catastrophic failure where it was unsafe to use the bikes. They claim a 60 lb PER BIKE load, but when it bounced from a dip, the weight of the bikes (total of 90 lbs COMBINED) applied enough pressure to bend and cause a dangerous tilt down. Hours of effort to contact the company and Amazon resulted in nothing. So I contested it on my credit card, which magically got a response from Amazon, but they won't talk to me. We bought a different rack and it is MUCH sturdier and doesn't rock like this one did. For equipment like this, I have learned to buy brands I know and buy in-store.
