It’s really nice to have when you’re in the middle of soldering and get too much flux/and or tin on the solder. That way you’re not slinging molten tin around and you don’t have to stop what you’re doing to clean off some minor oxidation.

A Bit of a Pain to Use

I really thought it was weighted on the bottom so it would not slide around so easily/ Definitely not the case! I need to find a round heavy piece of steel to glue to the bottom.
