Built to last

This hitch is very solid/sturdy with good quality materials and was easy to assemble. Installing it on my 1.25 hitch was not complicated but because the rack is sturdy it is a lot heavier than I expected and the installation would have went better with 2 people instead of just myself. Once the hitch was installed it was quite simple to mount a bike onto it. Through bumps and turns this hitch kept my bike in place and it did not bump against the car. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others. Pro tip: when assembling and installing make sure all screws are very tight! Once I tighten all the screws I went back over them with even more force to tighten them again. The result was a very stable rack. So if you are having shaking or wobbling issues. Tighten. the. screws!

Great carrier, but crucial part missing.

So the carrier came in. Looks like good quality, want to keep it. But one small part is missing. The hitch pin. No matter how I tried to jump through hoops, the only thing Amazon seems to allow is a full return, which is not what I want. In the item description page is no "contact the seller" option. Nothing. So I contacted KAC directly, see what they come up with, and the instruction manual had an e-mail to "OverdriveBrands", where I send an e-mail too. Now wait and see. Yes, the carrier looks good. But the Amazon option of just getting a missing part send, or get a discount is totally absent. FRUSTRATING!!!! I hope to update with good news form KAC themselves.....
