Much better than price suggests!

This is a very solid piece of kit. The tools are heavy duty and powerful. The battery charge quickly and the tools just get the job done.Also, if you register them with Skil they give you a 5 Year Warranty! That’s unheard of, but it also exemplifies the quality put into these.Very happy!

Really wanted to like these

A two star on a 200 dollar set? When I bought it on sale I thought it was at worst a good backup. Well, packaging is nice but the inside was disappointing.This company is a cheaper brand and I get that but why is it when I checked the tools, all but the reciprocating saw and speaker had loose terminals. And the light itself, had it so bad it was slanted.The drill, oh wow. The darn thing is troubled by a weak forward and backwards button that is mushy until you press it and it is stiff like it was grinding. Must be put in as poorly as the battery terminals.Contacted customer support that has no email, and they are sometimes hard to get to because I think they only have one person. She sounded very unhappy, not mean, just not pleasant. When I end the call with a thank you and she just basically says good bye, it isn't going well there.The light and the drill will supposedly be replaced but the light is on back order. It is a weak light and the batteries are very loud when they charge. Everything just seems weak and underwhelming.Next time, I will see if Dewalt has a sale. Be better spent.
