This is one of the most bang for your buck Klein kits. I use this everyday and never had any problem with the insulation. Tools are sturdy and last forever. This is a great starter kit with some good essentials and no redundant tools.I do wish the strippers had a clip to keep them closed like a non-insulated pair i have.

There is something very odd with the Pliers in this set@

Apparently on the diagonal cutters are harden for use with STEEL or ACSR CABLES. The 8 inch Linesmans are not! Why not ! And despite including bolt cutter for both 6-32 and 8-32 bolts the wire strippers can not be used to cut steel bolts. This doesn't generate confidence in Klein products!UPDATE!!KLIEN is being a little dishonest in marketing their linesman pliers.Klein Tools 2139NEEINS Slim Handle Insulated Side Cutter Pliers, are 213 model linesman "NOT", 2000 SERIES HARDENED LINESMAN PLIERS, as implied by its model numbers 2139! If you are comparing these with other brands you need to understand that ! This means you need understand you are limited to working with copper wire only!
