Greendale Outdoor High Back Chair Cushions

One of the reasons that I was attracted to these cushions was that they were offered in midnight blue. However when they arrived, the box was clearly marked navy, and the cushions are definitely navy, or even lighter than Navy. Also the cushions say they are 22 inches wide, but they are only 21 inches wide. So that was very disappointing. I called Amazon and they were able to mark down the price somewhat. After I got these cushions, I realized that they are the same exact cushions that I purchased 3 years ago in a different color. So I do like them. I obviously liked them enough to order them again. They are well made, thick enough and comfortable to sit on. And they fit my chairs well. And I like having a solid color as opposed to print. However the way the fabric is gathered with buttons makes it so that after a rain water piles up in those indentations. And also this time of year pollen piles up in there too, as you can see in the photo. So after a rain I always have to turn the chair over to pour out the water. The cushions I bought 3 years ago were royal blue and they faded considerably over the course of 3 years. Which is part of the reason why I bought new cushions. Also the squirrels got to them and tore out some of the stuffing, because the fabric weakens over time. I leave them out year round and I don't cover them. I'm sure they would wear better if I covered them. So all in all I like the cushions but I would like them better if they sent what was actually listed and if they had the correct measurements.
