A solid machine compactor, great performance for a modest price
By Charles on Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2025
This machine is no more difficult to assemble than a lawnmower. The instructions are easy to follow if you need them, and it has beastly power for a machine under 200 lbs. The throttle lever has a 10mm nut for adjustment to prevent the machine's vibration from changing the throttle position. Remember to fill the crankcase with 10W-30 motor oil, approximately 14 ounces ( always check the dipstick ). Setting the choke, opening the fuel valve and turning the kill switch to the on position, my unit started on the first pull. The wheels are small but do make it maneuverable and keep the machine compact. I recommend starting easy on the throttle and slowly building to a sustainable pace; it can go faster than necessary for solid compacting. I'm pleased with the machine and consider it an exceptional value for the money.

Missing Parts - Engine Shut off and Smoked - Handle Grip wore apart in 2 hours - Wheels dont stay up
By Atlanta404 on Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2020
The compactor arrived missing the bolts to attach the handle to the unit. I had to go to Home Depot and search to find the metric size screws and bolts and spend money to even use the product. The instructions are awful. It doesnt tell you how much oil to use. It says to check the dip stick but the engine is not mounted the way the engine book describes. It should say install with 1.5 quarts of oil or whatever it needs. And ideally it should ship with the oil needed. The included wrench didnt fit anything on it. While it was missing the bolts for the handle - it had some extra parts with it that went nowhwere. When we first started it ran fine until you increased the speed and it would shut off. We then added a little more oil as its impossible to check the level and it ran a tad better but then started getting very hot and smoking and high speeds. I tried to call customer service. Its non existent. You wait and then they tell me they wanted me to email them. How many weeks would that have taken to get a response? I had hired workers to use this machine and it was costing me time and money waiting so emailing for tech support was pointless. We tried using it to get that day's work done on my backfill project. When it ran it seemed OK but the wheels constantly fell down and got in the way making it very hard to use. If you put them up the clasps didnt hold them. I finally had to get a bungee cord to hold them up. It then would start smoking as we increased the speeds and workers said it was getting too hot to use. The foam on the handle wore off and ripped off during about 2 hours worth of use. The clips for the wheels also had the plastic come off of them. This isnt ready for prime time. Avoid like the plague. Amazon has also been a royal pain on the return. It was shipped to me and left in my driveway and the box was rained on. The product was totally dry but the box fell apart and I threw it away upon opening it. I had to make about 5 phone calls to get it picked up. UPS shows up and doesnt pick it up. Then they came to the wrong house - that was Amazons mistake. I still havent received a credit for it. Amazon where is my credit?? Do yourself a favor and go buy one locally.
