Philips Hue 3-Ft Light Strip Plus Extension

This product is very annoying. The hub side connector is not the same size at the connector at the end of the strip so you need an adapter to go from "hub" to "strip extension"???!!!???? See Photo showing the two ends of the strip next to each other. Who designed this trash? Additionally, there are no "first party" extension or adapters so you are very constrained to a single straight line and you better have room for the controller withing a few inches of your LED strip start. You have to buy parts from a 3rd party. These are VERY overpriced, I spent $38 for 2 splitters and 2 3m extension for my setup. That's on top of a $50 price for the strip itself and I can't find the hub to strip adapter... If it wasn't for the practicality of having this paired over Zigbee I would just return the whole setup. Unfortunately, IKEA has not figured out how to make a good LED strip yet... IKEA is the best for affordable Zigbee products, they just work and are unbeatable value!
