Good product..did the job it was designed to do

They work well for wallboard, thin plywood, soft thin pine boards. If you want deep drilling bits, look into auger bits, else these are fine for quick holes on soft thin materials.

Assortment and price.

These are decent spade bits. They arent self feeding so you get a little more control than other brands. However they do not send the spade bits in the picture. They send you the older version with pointed tips, which are not as good at cutting clean holes. I wanted the tapered corner spade bits like the pictures because those are really good at giving a nice clean, controlled cut. One good thi g is you get a tough case that connects to my craftsman and dewalt case.

Ive only used the 3/4 and 7/8 a couple of times on the job and theyre already dull. Im gonna give these to my helper and order something that actually works. Disappointed that these are complete junk. Just figured theyd be a cheap set to get me by since i lost my last one, but theyre already dull

Dulls pretty quick

Broke on first use. Drilling through 2x4. Drilled a 1/2 inch pilot hole then 1 inch then 1 1/2 inch whixh snapped leaving me down an extension bit and needing a new 1 1/2 inch bit.

I really like this set of spade bits and the container it comes in. I use alot of dewalt bits and the container clip together very well and hold without coming apart.

Good quality at a good price.

This is a great bit set. I’ve always trusted Irwin products. One setback, I thought this case folded but it does not. Minor issue that doesn’t effect the overall functionality or storage of these bits. See the video for more.
