Works great for doggy run in winter!
By B from AZ on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2024
Can’t get my gas snowblower in the backyard and wanted something else besides a snow shovel to keep a space open for my doggy. This little machine works great for that purpose! As suggested by another reviewer, I also ordered a 24v replacement battery. Upon arrival, I noticed that the battery was quite a bit heavier than the original and I started to get doubts if the higher voltage wouldn’t wear out the motor of this little machine before its time. So I returned it and ordered the SuperHandy 2Ah 20V DC 36 Watt battery instead (suggested by another reviewer). Looks and works exactly the same as the original. An added benefit: my newly adopted doggy came from a warm area and is new to snow - not fond of it (yet) to go out in the cold to do her business. (I set up a an indoor fake grass doggy toilet for her as well to be on the safe side.) When she hears this little snow thrower she wants to chase it and bolts outside (just have to be careful not to let her get in front of it where the moving parts are.) Once outside, she seems to figure it’s quite as well to do her business right there. Sooo, am verrry happy with this purchase!.

Awful - waste of money
By Timmy S. on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2024
This thing is terrible. It’s definitely not a snowblower, which I knew, but I figured it would at least be helpful and easier than a regular shovel. It’s completely worthless. Anything beyond like one inch of snow is too much for this shovel to handle, and the only snow it works with is the light fluffy snow. If it’s heavy, wet snow, it doesn’t work. Whenever it’s too much for it to handle, the shovel just shuts off. Additionally, the shovel is worthless when it comes to scraping the snow off the ground so there will always be a thin layer of snow stuck to the ground, which means you’ll need a regular shovel anyway. I ordered it last year after a small snow and then we didn’t get any snow the rest of the season, so now the return window is closed and I’m stuck with this piece of junk. Save your money, or spend a little extra and get a real snowblower.
