Inexpensive but not cheap junk

I'm very impressed with the strength of this small pressure washer. I didn't expect it to be near as great as it turned out to be. I had one minor issue with the hose popping off the unit more than once. After tightening it VERY snuggly with an adjustable plier I didn't have any more problems. I tightened it harder than I expected necessary hoping I wouldn't break it but it seemed necessary. It's possible it was unique to my unit or that my hand tightening wasn't sufficient. I used it for 8 hours straight 2 days in a row and really enjoyed the ease of use. I was price shopping but just because this was inexpensive it is definitely not a cheap piece of junk. I'd highly suggest this awesome product.

Design is fatally flawed

I purchase this product on November 30, 2020 during a lightning deal. At that time, there were only a few reviews. I am willing to bet that those 5 star reviews while not fake, were submitted after using the product maybe a handful of times. For me, it has leaked from day 1 but not enough for me to warrant a negative review. However, the part that connects to the hose is made of plastic. Obviously, the business end of any garden hose is not plastic. Over a period of time, a slight misthread here, there.. Now, it is unable to connect at all due to the the plastic threads being too worn out to make a connection of any kind. Oddly enough, they used metal for the connector for the sprayer, so why did they cheap out here? I see that Sun Joe's other models do have a metal connector. If you still choose to go with Sun Joe, at least take a look and see if the hose connector is plastic. As for me, I'll be purchasing another brand in this price range.
