A nice fan, and they standby their product
By Sith on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2022
Update:I thought I had a bad fan, they stood by their production and they sent a replacement. It turned out to be the wiring (in the house) and I had to get an electrician. In addition I guess they updated their software as I'm now able to control both fans lights with Alexia. Definitely 5 stars.I did not install the fans myself as I required an electrician to run the power, so I'm not sure how easy they are to install. I have only had the fans for a few days, but the fans are quiet, and seems to push air very effectively. The remote, and the FansIO app (on iOS) work fine. One fan did disconnect from FansIO, I was able to reconnect it. I'm not sure what happened, but I will keep an eye on it. The only issue is with Alexa, as their is no way to control the light(s) with multiple fans. With one fan operational you could control the light ( IE "Alexia turn on the light" or subsequently "Alexa light 50%") but now with two fans working, regardless of what Alexa device your talking to it will only turn on the same fan light, and now you can't control the brightness of the light because Alexa say's their are multiple devices called "light". To add insult to injury the light does not even show up in the Alexa app, so it can only be controlled via the remote or FansIO. Grouping the fans together does not solve the issue, but it does allow both fans (again not the lights) to be controlled at once. I took away one star because of the issue. Hopefully it will be resolved in a update.

Fan works nominally, controls are garbage
By DMWhite on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2024
Ordered this specifically because it was wireless and worked with Alexa or Google Home, and had wireless controller. The manual controller works ok, which is good cause there's no pull cords. Trying to set up the app to control took several attempts as it continuously crashes.. usually as soon as the app is opened. Using the app as a controller is a non-starter.. can't delete and reload the app every time I want to turn the light off. Connecting to Alexa and Google Home worked to connect, but the only option Google Home has is to change fan speed. No control over light. Alexa is similar, only it'll let you dim the light, but not turn it entirely off. What's the point of that?!?And do not buy this fan if you intend to install in a bedroom. There's a constant wine whine from the motor.. yes all fans make some noise but this is higher pitched and far louder than the ancient fan it was supposed to replace. In short.. if you're looking for convenience of operating with smart home devices.. keep looking. This ain't it.
