Warmth and ambiance

This propane fire pit is ideal for use on my new wood deck. It creates a wonderful ambiance and warmth that I felt was missing. Many evenings I go outside to relax for half an hour to an hour on my deck and I like the simplicity of being able to turn this on and enjoy a lovely, warm fire while I do so. There is a battery powered igniter switch that makes turning it on super easy. The flames are beautiful to watch and give off nice warmth as well. The table is a generous size for a group of about 6 or so to gather around and enjoy the warmth. The flame itself it very nice, it looks really pretty flickering through the blue glass. The flame transforms from blue to flickering yellow and has good distribution throughout the entire bowl. I think it radiates a nice amount of heat if I’m sitting close. I like the pretty tile table surround that not only looks nice but is a handy place to set my cup of tea. It really is a stunner. Everyone I’ve had over to hang out has been impressed with this fire pit table. The table is weather resistant and I mostly leave it ready to use all the time because I use it so frequently. For long term storage, there is a durable cover to protect it as well. I’ll use the cover over the winter. This has become my preference to starting a wood fire in my fire pit. No smelly clothes, no dodging smoke, no chopping wood, no cleanup. This is simple, beautiful and warm. My kids can even roast their marshmallows.

DON'T BUY!

I like this product but I had a HORRIBLE experience with it. Two of the legs were a bit crooked and the ignition switch is hit or miss when it comes to lighting it. The top arrived with a small scratch on it.I would have looked past all of this and given it a 4 star review. It looks great and gives off nice warmth.When you roll in the propane tank the hose got bent and settled on something that started melting it. I have since read a review where someone's hose caught fire. I ordered another shorter stainless steel braided hose online but it was the wrong sized fitting 3/8" flare nut . I tried to find another hose but the 1/4" flare nut is impossible to find either online or at hardware stores. I emailed customer support of Serenelife (Pyle support) which was on my manual. I explained my problem and sent pictures of the damaged hose and my invoice. After several phone calls and going back and forth with them. They told me to return the item! They wanted me to take apart this 70 pound fire pit, repack it and somehow get it to a UPS store! Although they had more in stock (which means they do have the part) they said the parts department didn't have any hoses. I spent an entire day driving to hardware stores, propane stores, rv repair places. I finally ended up in a industrial plant store where the guys were able to piece together a reducer to make the new hose I bought fit. So, although I like this product (nonw that I have it working and safe) I would NEVER want anyone to go through the frustation and hassle I did. In my opinion for the price they should not be using a 3' rubber hose. It should be a 2' braided stainless steel one that won't melt. So BEWARE!
