Check the batteries

The batteries come inside the lights and when I got mine, one wouldn't work so I opened up the battery compartment and found the batteries about to burst so I replaced both lights with fresh new batteries. I sent an email to customer service but got no response back from them so that is another reason they get a low rating.Update: I received a message from the seller and even though I still have concerns with the batteries being shipped in the lights, the lights themselves are very good and as described by the seller. I let the seller know about the battery concerns so that they may address the issue with the manufacturer/packaging. I have updated the rating for the customer service response.

Remote OFF leaves batteries draining

If you are not going to use the lights any time soon, you must turn the lights off using the LIGHT BUTTON itself. The remote “OFF" leaves the batteries draining. It may look like they are off, but they are draining. I am using 5 out of 6 lights. After one month of thinking they were off, all the batteries were drained (except the 6th one which I had turned off at the light button before I stored it). It kind of defeats the convenience of having a remote. NOTE: The lights must be turned ON at the light button for the remote to work.Aside from the impractical operation, and wasting a bunch of batteries, I really like these in my curio cabinet.
