Best walker we own, and totally worth its rather high price.
By EpisodicReader on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2025
Lightweight (10.6 pounds), folds easily, so you don't have to be an athlete to put it in the car, so the range in which a user can walk on their own is vastly increased. Excellent design, brake cables not exposed so they're safer, the holes for height adjustment are aligned with the brads so you don't have to rotate the connector, the brakes work well, the handles are positioned to help you get closer to the walker. The seat means that the user can stop and rest if necessary. If you are out in the world and need to put the walker, say, against a wall or near a table, it folds up nicely to occupy much less space. There's an accompanying small bag to transport things that you can attach if you like. This was our user's fourth walker and its user doesn't use any of the others anymore. We've already allowed a friend to try our byAcre walker out and they're ordering their own. It's not cheap, but it's worth it to get one's life back.

Feels quite overpriced; check with your PT before ordering
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2023
2/11/24 Updating to add that to check with your Physical Therapist before buying, Her new PT said that this was not safe for her because it's not stable enough. So, we had to buy a $50 Drive Walker (two wheels that don't swivel or turn). It seems like the PT felt that the limited mobility of the two wheel walker is better for her. I thought that this Rollator was easier for her to move and turn, but I guess that's not a a good thing for her? For context, she's elderly and tends to shuffle while walking. Ugh.... lots of money down the drain, as it's too late to return.... ------------------------------ My relative has a Drive rollator (less than $50) that seems stable and works pretty well. I think the pricing of the Drive is very reasonable. It's quite heavy for me to lift in and out of car., and it is too big to easily use in the house. So I searched for a lighter, more compact rollator and came across this Byacre Ultralight. Of course, all the reviews rave about the Byacre Ultralight weight, which I also think is great. However, I think it's reduced weight makes it less stable. Even with the brakes on, it can slide on tile and carpeting. I ordered the Compact. The footprint still seems quite sizeable in person. It BARELY fits through doors in the house, and I worry that it will cause a lot of damage to door frames and walls. The user is 5 ft, and her feet hang in the air a bit and are not flat on the ground when sitting in the seat, which is less secure for her particularly with no back rest. No width issues for her to get in and out of seat. So definitely glad I ordered the Compact instead of Regular. To me, it feels like this would be more appropriately priced at $300, max $400. And I am concerned about the reviews describing a lack of warranty response for things that are clearly a quality or manufacturing issue, particularly for medical device priced at so many times more than its competitors. Furthermore, the accessories (e.g., seat back, cane holder) are extremely expensive (for plastic) and have very poor reviews. The seat back, in particular, seems particularly poorly designed. They should redesign that--perhaps use fabric as well or some other design so that the rollator can still collapse. These types of reported issues makes it feel to me like it's price gouging and taking advantage of people who need medical devices to live. I hope other companies come to the market with comparable products to bring some much needed competition, which forces companies to improve their products and services. Of course if she finds tremendous benefit from the rollator, we will keep it because her health and safety is the priority. ‐-------- Editing to add that on the box it says that it's made in China. Some reviews here mistakenly describe this as made in Denmark. So again, just adds to the feeling of price gouging....
