9-ft. Umbrella w/ 6 Ribs

This umbrella looks nice for the price, and seemed sturdy enough, but the inner workings of it apparently are not. I only use it periodically, for a specific purpose (shade cooking on my balcony) and used it a total of six times over the time I had it. The rest of the time it was folded up, in a holder. The last time I went to use it, the mechanism that allows it to tilt, or not tilt, was broken. When I took it down yesterday there was a little piece of lightweight metal which had broken off and fell to the plastic foot cup. I am pretty sure that tiny bit is the part that kept the umbrella in a non-tilted position. That breaking is all it took to make the umbrella trash.
