Purchased two of the heaters, they are excellent quality and put out very good heat. I would say that the heat radiates in an 8 foot circle around the heater. Properly positioned two of them can heat my 30 x 20 patio.

Terrible-Don't do it

This is by far one of the worst purchases I've ever made. This company tries to be slick as well. They sell the same heater under a different name and charges a higher price. (One description says patio propane heater and the other description says it's a commercial gas heater???) Cheaply made and will rust very quickly. The lighter stopped working after a few uses. My old $99 heater from Walmart works better and has lasted years.
