Works great when going up in the attic. We have exposed nails from where the shingles have been nailed down- if you stand up too quick, you’re going to get hurt- unless you’re wearing one of these.

The bump cap part is extemely cheap and uncomfortable

The hat fits well and is very comfortable. The bump cap insert, however, is the worst I have ever used. It's just a cheap piece of plastic with no padding that hurts your head as soon as you put it on. I can't imagine hitting my head on something with this insert in the cap. It would likely be more painful than if you had nothing at all. It's not worth the price. I would have given five stars if they put a decent bump insert into this hat.
