Milwaukee 48-59-1862S M18 XC6.0 Battery 2pk Kit

Purchased May 2024; battery manufacture date code November 2022. Mine seemed to charge OK although some internet reviews suggest the long time on shelf might impact the durability. Milwaukee phone representative says no authorized dealers on Amazon so 3-year warranty starts on manufacture date. Box and battery weights consistent with genuine Milwaukee product, although phone rep says counterfeits are common and that many are impossible to spot unless the battery is opened to check cells and electronics, both of which are critical to proper power delivery to high draw tools. Note that the charger in these starter kits is the older version, not one of the newer rapid chargers. Price was good but it is definitely a gamble to buy here.
