OTOFIX 6V 12V Car Battery Tester

Using other battery analyzer, I get varying degrees of battery health. The BT1 lite, battery is either good or bad. I tested a couple batteries. Battery was testing bad at 645cca, but at 640cca battery was showing good at 97%. Well in reality the battery will drop off as you increase the rated cca. Like my other battery analyzer. Test a battery get cca lets say 400cca, input the rated cca of battery at 400cca battery is 100%. Change the cca rating to 450cca and retest. The rating will drop to 89%. Raise the rating to 500cca and the battery will show bad, at lets say 56%. The BT1 lite will show a bad battery with no %. You can drop the cca rating by 5amps and the BT1 lite will show a good battery 97%. Its not possible for a battery to be bad only having a 5cca difference from a 97% rating. Try changing the cca rating of the battery and you will see that at some point the battery will be 97% good the dropping the cca by 5cca it wiil be bad. no 95% 90% 85% 80% 75%. Very strange and makes this a go no go tester. The cca amp test is accurate. But the gauge is worthless with the current algorithm. You could use a battery chart with the cca test, but that defeats the purpose of a $100 battery tester/ analyzer. Hope the company fixes this. I haven't tried the in vehicle tests which look very very nice. I will update the review after I get more experience with it.
