Pretty slick. Integrates right in your existing Hue and Google home apps without any issues. Light control and gradient are exactly what you have come to expect from Hue. I mounted mine in the corner of my room, which limits its ‘shine’ capability, but that was the place I wanted lighting the most. I suggest keeping it 8-12” away from the wall to maximize its effect, something I couldn’t do. I also was able to mount it to the wall using a small 4” bracket and some Velcro. The first photo a yellow/gold color at 30%, and the second at 100%, same color and position, time of day roughly early evening.

A bit gimmicky but still nice

Honestly, at this price point you can get a much more functional and much more aesthetic lamp. Main reason we got this was because we’re stuck with Hue ecosystem and I already had two other Zigne. It’s got a weighted base so it’s a bit hard to knock over on accident. That being said a toddler is still very capable of running this thing down. This lamp is “brighter” than other hue bulbs by the virtue of being bigger. It doesn’t actually have much more lumen/brightness than the other hue bulbs. It’s bothersome if you point the light source out in the open, hence we’re turning it towards the wall as pictured. It’s a good accent light but not a good main source of illumination
