How to disassemble for installation

No instructions or obvious way to disassemble the springed door stop. Hint: Use needle-nosed pliers. Door stopper does work but the magnet has less strength than what I would expect. The aesthetics are okay, but I would describe them as black rather than oil rubbed bronze. The quality is good. They are sturdy enough to do the job. My biggest concern for longevity is the thin coil spring.
