$125?? Good job @ Amazon and Skil. This thing shreds. WAAAAY better than any rotary hammer I've used below $200. Comparing this to a Milwaukee or DeWalt or Flex is unfair because I don't think Skil is built to withstand an orbital laser strike like the other 3 I listed 😂 But it holds up great! and it tears through concrete with the Bosch HK001 bits. Battery lasted surprisingly long. The hammer function really does hammer, you can hear it thump. I haven't tested it on steel but what's the point? I'm never gonna use it for that and I'll just be stressing it at that point. I wouldn't necessarily go with this for thick plated steel but who knows, I could be pleasantly proven very wrong. I spun this thing for 1 minute straight on both settings and I noticed zero inconsistency in the spin or the hammer. A+ for value. I can't recommend this thing more for the price. Great tool.

Ok for homeowner use

I drill a lot of 1/4" holes in concrete for work. I bought two of these. They are better suited for 4ah batteries. They do a pretty good job at drilling in concrete, but I have basically replaced them in my arsenal in less than 6 months with some Bauer cordless from harbor freight. These will make some good back ups or maybe I'll give them to my dad or brother since I have 5-6 hammer drills at this point.
