This works well on my stainless steel grill - NO brush fibers left behind.

Well built, but not very effective.

I bought this because I wanted a BBQ brush without bristles, and I did note the many great reviews. My fist impression was this was well made, appeared very sturdy and there were no bristles. However, when I tried it on my band new stainless steel BBQ for its first cleaning, this brush did not work well. The 'brush' part sort of rubbed on the burnt on grime rather than scraping it off. It removed the leftover burnt chunky parts pretty well, but it did not work too well on anything else. I then tried my original BBQ brush with the steel bristles, and it finished the job much easier. My goal was to find a BBQ brush that I didn't have to worry about steel bristles coming loose and getting into the food, but this was my second attempt at trying a bristle-free brush and both failed for me. At this point I plan to go back to using the bristled brushes (high quality) and wiping the grates down afterwards with a cloth.
