The Safety warning included in the package says: 1. Do NOT use in any wet or damp area. 2. Do NOT use with any heater or heat producing appliance such as coffee makers, toasters, irons, etc... 3. THIS IS NOT A SURGE PROTECTOR. The list of safety warnings goes on. However their advertisement clearly states this product is perfect for any situation. NOT TRUE !!!
