EAST OAK Patio Heater 3000W, Commercial

We really wanted this to work, it is big and beautiful. had 220 line installed, put it together, take your time, not difficult. plugged it in and the coils start to illuminate. it was exciting. after a few minutes, they were glowing. , but not much heat. I thought maybe I had it on low. Nope, it was at full blast, high there are two heat coils up in the bell of the unit the outside (biggest) was full-on red glow the inside coil (smaller) was only about half as bright. we were shocked that there was not enough heat to even feel unless you put your hand right up to the coil. I called customer service and told them the problem and they confirmed that it was on high and the inside coil would not get as hot as the outside coil. Customer service was very nice and easy to work with, a top-notch company with great heaters it's shame it is very restaurant quality and nice looking. but it went back. also so you know when it is delivered you will be shocked to see how nicely it is crated, but it is quite a heavy and cumbersome wood crate 5' X 3" x3' that needs a forklift to move around and a chainsaw to chop it up in smaller pieces to dispose of in trash cans. we were disappointed it did not work for us but we found something else that works perfectly and is probably better all around for us.
