UPDATE: AFTER READING MY REVIEW THE COMPANY REACHED OUT TO ME AND SENT ME AN UPGRADED MODEL WITH REMOTE. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. WARM, STEADY SAFE....SO HAPPY TO USE IT AND TURNING ON FOR MY OUTDOOR CAT AS IT IS COLD....HE LOVES IT TOO! THANK YOU FOR SENDING ME THIS AT NO COST....GREAT COMPANY STANDING BEHIND ITS PRODUCTS.The product is very stable, appears well made structurally. The heat does not radiate past 2 feet. The glass gets very hot and afraid if I touch it by accident that it will burn my skin. I am disabled and should have read ALL THE INFORMATION AND REVIEWS as many of theirs also stated it was not warm enough and that getting to the on off switch is almost impossible to reach, as it is underneath the unit. I will be returning this item. Seemed like a great device as I need something for my outside patio but is not warm enough and, hard t o turn on and off.

Not what I expected.

Here is my honest review. I have to say I am very disappointed. First, it hardly puts out any heat at all for this purpose of keeping you warm. It has a metal casing and glass on both sides. Those areas will get very hot. Have to be very careful with little ones around and don’t let your pets get close to it either. The switch seems to be an issue as it will not turn on and off. I have to plug it in to turn it on and of course, unplug to turn it off. Texas was about to get some serious cold weather hence the reason I bought it. Barely any heat coming from it at all. The only thing hot about it is the casing the heat strips are encased in. It is not worth the money I spent but don’t want to pay to send it back. Please save your money.
