Nice upgrade for 4runner
By Jelsamcharlen on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2025
I decided to upgrade my 4Runner’s interior and exterior lighting to LED bulbs, and I’m so glad I went with these! They’ve made a noticeable difference in brightness, color, and energy efficiency.Pros: • Bright & Crisp Light: These LEDs are much brighter than the stock bulbs. They provide a clean, white light (around 6000K) that improves visibility and gives the interior a modern, premium look. • Easy Installation: I swapped out the old bulbs in under 30 minutes—no special tools needed. The kit includes everything required for a quick and hassle-free installation. • No Flicker or Error Messages: I’ve read that some LEDs can cause flickering or trigger error codes, but these worked perfectly with my 4Runner. No issues with the dashboard or lights flickering. • Durability: The build quality seems solid, and they feel like they’ll last. I’ve used them for several weeks now, and there’s been no noticeable dimming or performance drop. • Energy-Efficient: Less power consumption means less strain on the vehicle’s electrical system, which is always a plus for longevity.Cons: • Color Mismatch for Some Bulbs: While the interior bulbs match the description perfectly, the exterior bulbs (like the reverse lights) are a bit cooler in tone than I expected. Not a huge deal, but something to consider if you’re aiming for perfect uniformity.Overall, I’m thrilled with this LED bulb kit. It’s a solid upgrade for anyone wanting to brighten up their 4Runner with a more modern look and improved visibility. Highly recommend!

Don't be fooled by crazy "lumens" numbers
By Woody on Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2024
These headlights are fine, but they're nowhere near the brightness they claim. Many listings online claim huge numbers and this one was one of those. I replaced a pair of Auxito LED bulbs with these. The Auxito bulbs have a lumen rating of 13,000, while these bulbs claim to be 30,000, so even if the rating was based on the pair, the individual bulbs should still be brighter. I replaced one of the Auxito bulbs so I had a direct comparison, and the brightness looked about the same. Moreover, these bulbs where slightly more white than the Auxito bulbs that had a slight blue tint to them, which I preferred. Both bulbs claim to be 6500K in color, so someone is off. I will do some more real world driving, but I'm not impressed with these bulbs so far considering I spent $20 more for them than the cost of the Auxito bulbs. I may return these if they don't somehow distinguish themselves to justify the added cost and brightness claim.
