Great Starter Kit

This is a great starter kit for building a water irrigation system in a garden. It contains a lot. The issue we encountered was once we set it all down into the garden and turned on the water source, the water pressure was too low for the sprayers to work properly. They dribbled water. So we bought extra length of hose, another set of blue tipped sprayers (because they seem to work the best), a water timer, and a bi-valve attachment for the outside water faucet. We installed a 2nd, separate water line, attached the blue sprayers, installed the bi-valve, and water timer and ta da! It all works! Set timer to water 1 side of the garden and then we have to manually switch the timer to water the other side. Eventually, we plan to install another timer for the 2nd line. Overall, for the price and contents, it's a good deal and with some tweaking it works well.

After almost a seasons use in a raised garden bed consisting of 4 2x8' boxes. The kit will adequately work using 16 of the water sprinkler heads. Adding sprinklers diminishes the water flow and affects all sprinklers. I attempted to connect an additional 5 sprinklers for 5 gallon potted buckets, no go, water was inadequate and had to remove the additional 5. That being said, I still like the system as currently connected and on a timer. They were extremely hard assembling even after sitting in the sun. I used a coax cable pliers to help force the drip hose onto the connectors and sprinklers. I have since added an additional 2 2x8' raised garden beds and purchased a different brand of irrigation system. It too has its limitations. Overall, I like both irrigation systems, just wish they would support more sprinklers, then only one system would be needed.
