Great power bank. Trades some features for higher battery capacity.

I like this power bank. Screen is small but gives all the info you need, and the color LCD is a nice touch. Powers everything just fine. This x700 powers 650 watts with a surge of 1000 watts. Some devices like drills, saws, blenders etc will surge to a high wattage then immediately come down to running wattage. So check the items you want to run off it and look at the wattage they use. With 665WH on the capacity of this unit, that means if you plug in a device using 650 watts it will run for an hour... 325 watts would run for 2 hours, and so on. And NO, heaters are not meant to be run off any size power bank. They draw anywhere from 900-1500 watts so even the huge power banks might only run them an hour. As others mentioned, get a heated blanket... they draw about 40-90 watts and once the reach temperature they cycle on/off so they will run a long time. I found the included charger can get pretty hot. But, I also found Dell brand chargers will work with it, so I bought a 240 watt Dell charger that has been working just fine and does not get as hot. Also bought a small DC adapter set here on Amazon so I can use my 60 watt solar charger on this. One nice feature of this x700 is pass-thru charging. That means you can charge the unit and it can still be powering devices at the same time. You can use it as a UPS, but power banks are not meant for that so it is generally not a good idea to keep it connected as a UPS all the time. Only other negative I would mention is the removable light. Works just fine when connected, but the only time I tried to use it detached it only lasted about 25 minutes. Maybe mine is just bad, but I have plenty of flashlights which I recommend anyway... just get a couple of USB rechargeable flashlights and you can charge them off the main unit.

The charge port is a bit loose and bad customer service
By intouch on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2024
I got it yesterday and the battery was at 30% so I plugged it in for the whole night, I notice that the battery was off and when I power it on, it was only at 51%. When I was unplugging it, it started charging again.. Not sure if its the port itself or the power adapter. I have to nudge it a little for it to charge constantly. If its left plugged in, it would not always charge. I will test it with the adapter and my solar panels but my solar panels uses 7909 so it will take a few days to check that out. Edit 1: Tested and found that it's the power port problem. I tested 3 different adapter. Edited 2: Terrible customer service experience. I left a message on Saturday and got back a message on Sunday to call them. So I did and got a message they are off on Sunday so I called on Tuesday after labor day Monday. I talked to customer service and did some trouble shooting then they said I needed to talk to a technical staff or manager and that they will call me back next day. I waited 2 days and still no callback so I called them again. The phone went straight to busy signal. So I contacted them through message on Amazon. Didn't get a reply so I contacted Amazon to let them know and next day they called me back. Did some same troubleshooting then transferred me to a manager which I told him the same stuff again. Then they asked if I want a replacement or refund which at this point, I do not want to touch this with a10 foot pole so I opted for refund.
