A Crazy Bright Jobsite Flood Light
By Bill M. on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2022
I ordered the 200-watt version of this jobsite light, and it’s incredibly bright. If you look directly at the light, you will see spots for several minutes afterwards. So yeah, it’s crazy bright. And, consequently, is the perfect jobsite light under certain conditions. In my opinion, the only way to properly use this 200-watt jobsite light is via hanging it overhead. And at least 10 feet overhead if at all possible. You definitely want to keep it out of your direct line of sight, and the only way you can effectively accomplish that is by hanging it overhead. Additionally, if you’re wanting/needing to light up a large area with low ceilings, I think you would be much better off buying two or more 60-watt or 100-watt models instead of this 200-watt model. This 200-watt model is obviously designed for lighting up large areas where you can hang it a good distance from the floor/ground. With all of that said, we have been very happy with this worksite light. To date it has gotten about 50 hours of use, and so far it has worked without an issue of any kind. And while I don’t foresee any issues with this worksite light, if it stops working in the first two or three years, I will be sure to update this review and let you know. If you have any questions about this Southwire LED jobsite light, please feel free to ask, and I'll try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.

Not what I expected...?

I understood this to be a temporary lighting solution (did I misread?) but it needs to be hard wired...so I was a little perplexed.
