ASTEROUTDOOR 8ft Inflatable Santa Claus & Bear

Its not quite time to put out the Christmas decorations, but its coming soon, so I've been getting my decorations ready. I have a few Christmas blow ups, but nothing big, so I wanted to get this and check it out before the snow gets here so I can decide if I want anything else or not.Anyway, shipping was fast, and the box arrived in decent enough shape. It wasn't in a standard Amazon box, it was just in that decorative red box in my pictures. So if it's somehow a surprise, keep that in mind. I blew it up in my garage so I could get a feel for the size and everything before its time to set up outside.I took a bunch of pictures, so you can see for yourself, but let me point out the things that I noticed.1: The included bag is a little bit oversized so its not ridiculous to put the thing away. I was pleased with this. The other blowups I've bought didn't have bags and so I either stuff them back into their box, or I put them in a garbage sack in between seasons. I also like that the bag is red so its easy to tell it goes with the christmas stuff.2:The stakes and ropes are bigger and more substantial than I expected. Maybe this is common for blow ups this size, but I'm used to the tiny wire like stakes that the other ones come with. These seem like they will do a pretty great job with standard wind conditions.3: It's big. I know the description said 8 feet, but I've got a standard height garage door and you can see in my pictures that it takes up a good chunk of the width of it and it is taller than the spring on my garage door.4: The power supply output is 12v at 2000mA which would be about 24 watts. So, not terrible, but it is using the same amount of power as a few LED house lights. (still quite a bit less than a 100watt incandescent bulb)5: The fan intake has several little posts around it to help keep things from blocking it. Thats a good feature my other blow ups don't have.6: For better or worse, this blow up definitely has a "good side". There is nothing really going on in the back, so you'll want to point it toward your audience or whatever. It's so big you'll probably want to put it towards the back if you have multiple decorations anyway, so its probably fine.7: it has a pretty standard amount of lights inside including one in the star which I appreciated. Nothing amazing, but it will work.8: it has an opening that can unzip to quickly let the air out or add more lights inside if you're so inclined. I might recommend putting a weight or something inside the bottom using that opening if you have something that is soft and weatherproof.That's about it! The stitching and quality seem on par with what I would expect and it seems like it has some nice details I didn't expect like actual air flow into the ribbon bows and stuff. I kind of wish the snowman was waving instead of putting both arms toward the tree, but I guess it makes sense that he's kind of holding the tree and kid snow man. So maybe it's more responsible for him to be using both arms for that. ha ha. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.
