This is NOT a battery trickle charger it is only a battery maintainer

The listing for this item has an incorrect description. It states that it is a battery trickle charger but when you get it you find out that it can NOT be used to charge a dead battery - a function that a trickle charger does. This is only to be used as a battery maintainer to keep a charge on a battery while the vehicle is in long or medium term storage - this is often called a float charger or maintainer. Also Amazon is under the impression that this is a child's toy and they have questions regarding toys. This product is intended ONLY to be used to MAINTAIN 12 volt lead acid batteries - car batteries. Now I'm trying to return it through normal procedure and I'm having difficulty that hopefully gets resolved... I'll update this review to let you know if I manage to get my money back.
