Nice Light Weight Vented Cover, Hoping Light Color Will Last Longer
By labbie1 on Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2023
We got our fire pit in September of last year--so just under a year ago. It came with a cover which lasted about 6 months before we determined that we needed another cover. This cover is beige on top and tan on the bottom. It has strap handles to aid in removal. There are vents under each of the strap handles that allow for air circulation to prevent mold and mildew but also helps to keep it in place. If breezes get under the cover the air can vent out of the sides. The inside of the cover is smooth and doesn't catch on or scratch the firepit. When we first took this cover out of the package, we were surprised at how thin and light it is. We felt sure that it would not be nearly as good as the original cover which was much heavier. Surprise! It really is very good at keeping the water off of the fire pit! Much like a small modern tent, it is light but sturdy. The stitching on it seems secure and well done. Nice and straight and snug.We used a small rock on the top of the fire pit cover to give the top of the cover an angle for the rain to run off rather than pool as you can see in the picture above.. We learned that pretty quickly with the first cover and continue with this cover. We gave this a nice spray with the garden hose to check the waterproof properties and it did shed the water nicely. Our firepit is just under the 36" square and is shorter than this cover allows for but it fits nicely and we just tuck under the extra length. It has stayed in place through some pretty breezy summer days so far and we expect that with the vents it will stay put throughout it's live cycle. We also hope that the lighter color of this fire pit cover will help it to last longer in the brutal Texas summer sun. Time will tell on that.I will update this review if this firepit cover doesn't perform as expected, but so far, so good. This cover was made in China

DIMENSIONS AND LISTING DESCRIPTION INCORRECT~!!
By Matt on Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2023
So, this is a confusing thing because the description says it's "Square" and there is picture showing measurements of the product that show it's 36" on all sides, however, the pictures themselves show a rectangle. I took a gamble and was hoping that the dimensions and description were listed correctly and the stock picture was the incorrect, but that's not the case. The actual cover that came is a RECTANGLE and measures 24"X36" NOT a square that is 36"X36"....that being said, the material is decently water proof, it's not lined like some of the other patio furniture covers we have.
