Solid Tool- Worth Every Cent
By sean reynolds on Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2025
The Milwaukee M18 cordless grinder is a solid tool that performs as expected. We've bought several for our construction field teams, and they’ve held up well on job sites. It's durable, easy to use, and does the job without issues. It handles daily tasks like cutting and grinding with no problem, even in rough work environments. Our company primarily uses Milwaukee tools because they’re reliable. The M18 battery system lasts long enough to get through a day’s work, and it’s convenient being able to swap the same battery across different tools. We've stuck with Milwaukee because the tools generally last and don’t need frequent replacement. The M18 grinder is what you’d expect from a higher-end power tool—dependable and built to take a beating. It’s not flashy, but it works, and that’s what matters on a job site. Between durability, battery life, and warranty support, it fits right in with the rest of our Milwaukee lineup. We’ve purchased enough of these grinders across our crews to know they hold up over time. Even with constant use, there’s been minimal maintenance or issues. That kind of consistency is important when you're managing multiple teams and can't afford downtime due to tool failures. For us, sticking with Milwaukee just makes sense—it keeps things simple, and we know what we’re getting every time.

Lack of power
By Martie on Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2024
For $108 I expected a go tough Milwaukee tool…. I got a lack of power craftsman grinder I feel. I have alot cheaper craftsman tool and started working at a steel mill and see how tough Milwaukee is and how well the grinders work. I saw this at a decent price and thought nothing much. Finally used it a mouth later to realize it stalls so easily like my cheap craftsman grinder does. If you cut thicker metal and need the full power of a Milwaukee tool get a Milwaukee fuel it’s nothing close to its predecessor. Great tool for a start but if your into serious stuff don’t cheap out!
