Wiha 76280 3 Piece Adjustable Wrench Set

Nicer and better feeling in the hand than anything coming out of China. The adjustment is very smooth with no In-N-Out slop and very minimal rattle or jaw wiggle. The adjustment screw is nice and tight in the head with no rattle, while still being very easy to turn. The black phosphate handle coating is just fine with me for the price. These are the exact same adjustable wrenches as Channel Lock. The Channel Locks are just chrome plated, and a little more expensive for it. They are made in Spain by Irega, who have been making high quality adjustable wrenches for a long time. They know what they are doing. There's a slight edge on the inside of the jaws, but its not even enough to take away a star on the rating. It's not enough to make it sharp or anything. A couple of seconds with a small fine file, or even a fingernail file is enough to make the "slight" corners of the jaws smooth to the touch. The wide beam of these wrenches is nice when applying torque as it won't hurt the hands. The jaws are just thin enough to get into places many of the cheaper "thick-jawed" wrenches won't, while still being strong enough to do the job just fine. I don't use cheater pipes with my adjustable wrenches anymore either. If you think you need a cheater pipe on an adjustable wrench, you just need a bigger wrench. No tool is unbreakable. These wrenches should last me the rest of my life, and probably a good part of my son, or grandson's life. I've become a fan of Wiha over the last year, and even came back for the 10" and 12". For the price, these were a good purchase.
