Inflatable Towering Christmas Tree w/ LED Lights

I held off on reviewing this to give it a chance. The first one I received had a couple holes in the fabric. It looked like it had been sliced somehow in manufacturing. I did a return and replacement, which Amazon made very easy.My replacement tree also had a couple holes, though they were much smaller and did not interfere with the tree inflating. The holes in the second tree look more like a hot tool touched the nylon fabric and melted a small hole in it, rather than cuts. Anyway, I wanted the tree for Christmas decorating, so I decided to keep the second one.I got it set up with ease. I love the look of it inflated in the yard. I was happy with it and ready to write a shining review.Then last night we had a rain storm. This morning I found the tree deflated in the yard. I thought maybe the fabric had grown heavy with water and if I shook it off and readjusted it, the fan could reinflate it. That is when I realized the fan was not running. The lights are still lit, so it’s not the plug or transformer. Water must have gotten in the fan and caused a problem.I hold out a tiny bit of hope that with some time to dry out and maybe a little tinkering and trouble shooting I will get it working again. But I’m writing this review to let you all know what happened. This is the kind of experience I want to know about before I choose a product.These things are made to be put out in yards, in the weather. I didn’t read anything about unplugging it or bringing it in if there was rain. They should be able to withstand an average amount of rain or snow without being ruined.The tree is super cute and bright and well lit, a great decoration….. when it’s working. But if it can’t handle getting wet, three stars is probably too generous. It rains/snows a lot in the winter.
