The Best Purchase I've Ever Made on Amazon!
By Christina T. on Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2023
Oh. My. Goodness! I'm not kidding you, this is, BY FAR, the best thing I've EVER purchased from Amazon! I am MORE than pleased and HIGHLY impressed! I just got this about an hour ago. It was SO easy to setup and just as easy to use. It took no time at all. The instructions are in English and very easy to follow. Not only that, it's aesthetically pleasing to look at it, too! I love the RGB Lights and the sleek, modern design. They really put some thought into the functionality, as well. All the buttons and ports are positioned perfectly. For instance, the place where you plug in your devices is on the right-hand side, so you don't have to worry about trying to get past all your charging cords in order to press the call button in order to answer a call or to access the skip or pause buttons for your music. And, the sound quality is unreal! Music and calls are CRYSTAL clear. This is truly an outstanding and remarkable product! Honestly, I was shocked. I hate to say it, but I was expecting mediocre quality, even after reading all the good reviews. If you're looking for an FM Transmitter for your car, look no further. Definitely, without a doubt, buy this! I promise, you will NOT be disappointed. If for some reason you ARE disappointed, you must've received a fluke or something, which, as we ALL know, ends up happening occasionally. If that DOES happen, I would recommend getting a replacement sent and trying again. With all that being said, I'll definitely be looking into what other products this company has to offer. If they keep up this kind of quality at these kind of reasonable prices, which is hard to come by these days, they'll certainly have me as a life-long customer, and without question, I'll definitely be recommending their products to everyone I know. Wow! Absolutely amazing! Great job, JOYROOM! Keep up the good work! FYI - The instructions tell you to pick an FM station that is only static. The keyword here is 'ONLY' static. Before setting up the transmitter, what I would suggest doing is to find an FM station that you THINK is only static and just drive around for a minute to make SURE it STAYS 100% static. If you hear ANY faint music or talking coming through the static AT ALL, even just a little bit, your music and phone calls WILL have static in them, so make SURE the FM station you choose is 100% static.

Connects very quickly over Bluetooth, but sound quality very poor
By zecanard on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2022
I was super excited to get this Bluetooth FM transmitter. The dual-microphones (for voice control while driving in a noisy car) and larger screen (to make on-the-fly frequency adjustments easier) were what made me pull the trigger on this Amazon Lightning Deal. Right out the box, the device paired very fast over Bluetooth. If you’re using a Bluetooth 4.x transmitter, Bluetooth 5 ones pair much faster and more reliably. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience stopped. As soon as I started streaming music to it, the static started. It's faint, but loud enough to be noticed. And no, I've owned 4 or 5 FM transmitters over the past 15+ years, and this is the first time I've experienced this. I still had my previous FM transmitter on hand, so I put it back in, and sure enough, no static. In fact, if I paused the music (but kept the volume high), the static would fade away, indicating that it was being emitted by the transmitter and not by the radio. I tried several clean frequencies as well, with no change in the static. There was also a high-pitched whistling/squeaky noise that would start after maybe 5 minutes of streaming music to the FM transmitter. At first I thought it might be the fan in my induction phone charger (ESR HaloLock CryoBoost), but that wasn't it either: that fan spins down if you take the phone off the charger, and in this case the whistling/squeaking continued. Perhaps I got a defective unit, because the sound quality (ignoring the other issues) wasn't worth writing home about either, despite what I read in other reviews. The Bass Booster only had a minimal effect on my music, and the output in general was far less full, and not very loud at all compared to my previous FM transmitter. I had to crank up the volume much higher on this one. Other than that, I didn't get to test the dual-microphones, but the battery voltage measurement seemed inline with my previous FM transmitter. And for the short amount of time I got to test them, the charging ports charged my phone and watch just as fast as my previous FM transmitter. The manufacturer did offer an exchange, but seeing the number of reviews complaining about these exact sound-quality issues, I didn't feel like it was worth the gamble or bother. For me this one is 2 stars, but giving it one extra star for customer service. The manufacturer proactively reached out to me to make sure I was satisfied with the product and offer assistance with any issues. In the end, they provided a full refund and paid for return shipping so they could inspect and troubleshoot the device. No mention of a review was ever made, and this opinion is my own.
